How to check your inburgering exam results

After your exam, DUO sends your result by letter. You can also see it in Mijn Inburgering.

When you get your result

• A2 language exams and KNM: within 8 weeks, by letter and in Mijn Inburgering.
• Speaking A2 and Writing A2 take longer at the moment, because DUO has many exams to mark: up to 16 weeks (DUO news, 31 July 2026). People who took the exam on the same day can get their results at different times.
• B1 or B2 (state exam Nt2): these results work differently. DUO links to them from its results page.

How to see your result online

1. Log in to Mijn Inburgering with DigiD.
2. Open your exams. Your result is shown for each exam you took.

Waiting while your deadline comes closer

Is your integration period almost over, and are you still waiting for the result of Speaking A2 or Writing A2? Then DUO gives you 6 months extra. You don't have to do anything: it happens automatically, and DUO sends you a letter. If the waiting time changes, DUO announces it in a news item on inburgeren.nl.

Did not pass?

You can book the exam again in Mijn Inburgering: see how to book your exam. A new attempt costs €50 again, unless it is one of the 2 free attempts for asylum status holders. Use the time to practise the parts you found hard.

Passed everything?

Congratulations! Your diploma is digital:

1. In Mijn Inburgering, choose Diploma.
2. You go to the website Mijn diploma's, where you download your digital diploma. It is free, and you can download it again at any time.

You can also ask for one paper diploma for free, with the button under Diploma in Mijn Inburgering. Sending it takes up to 8 weeks. Only use the digital diploma digitally: a print of it is not valid. DUO explains this on its diploma page.
